It’s 10.54am Sunday November 8th, 2009. The weather here in Cancun is 75.2ºF with 9 mph winds from the west occasionally gusting to 28 mph NNE. The heat index is 80ºF, the humidity is 94% and the dew point is 73ºF . At this moment it is almost completely calm. We have been getting very short sudden rains from time to time.

It looks like we may have been given a “free pass” from Ida. Although she regained her hurricane status she has chosen to go up the Yucatan channel between Cancun and Cuba threading it like a eye of a needle. We’ll see how the day progresses and maybe go out to the hotel zone for some beach pictures. It’s all is good so far. Have a great day!
