Photographic Adventures in Paradise
We were invited to a birthday party given by Barry Ivan White at his home for his friend and fellow entertainer Betty Melendez last week. It was Betty’s 88th birthday. She is a Mexican movie star and long time songstress that still entertains both in Cancun and Las Vegas. She spends about 6 months in each of these cities. The following is a film clip from a movie she starred in 1962 at age 33.
The following are some of the pictures from the party.
This special day was filled with a dish to pass from each of the guests, cake, ice cream, singing by Barry, Betty, Cynthia Morningstar Davis, and others. Guests present were from 6 different countries. The conversation was vigorous and the commaradere wonderful. The guest of honor enjoyed her special day immensely. Cancun is a very special place where this kind of gathering is common among friends that live here. Come and enjoy the fun.
On Friday Oct.25th we had a house party catered by Grupo Mont Blanc Eventos Especiales caterers from here in Cancun. (phone: 998-847-4564) (www.grupomontblanc.com) We were more than satisfied with them. Absolutely every one that attended the event complimented us on the ambiance, food, and service that Mont Blanc provided. They truly made this an event to remember for everyone. Here are some pictures from the party.
The table, chairs, table linens, centerpieces, garden lighting, waiters, bartenders, chef, food, setup and cleanup were all provided by Mont Blanc. We didn’t have to do anything except enjoy our event along with our guests.
